Ok guys, im not really bright about the hardW. My comp is mostly for V games... yeh...
Well, my problem is that it lags alot, when i play or try to record with Fraps. If i understand it righ, the problem is that my comp doesnt "work" fast enough, and cant handle everything in time... (@ least thats what some ppl say) I have 2 questions. 1 - Is that right? 2 - how do i fix it? what do i need to buy for my comp to speed shit up? It may sound retarded, but i need help guys... thx. |

We will need some more details, such as what is your system configuration (what cpu, motherboard, quantity of memory, video card, and hard drive) and exactly what games give you problems along with the settings for those games (detail settings ((ie high/med/low)) and resolution)
The more details you can provide the clearer the picture will be for us, if your system is simply too slow to run the games you want to run you will need to upgrade your system, if your system is fast enough there may be a problem somewhere that is straining your system and limiting your performance, such as malware, virus, driver corruption, operating system corruption, and all kinds of things could cause problem, most are easy to fix but some could be complicated. Most of the information we would need can be found by running a program called cpu-z from cpuid.com its a simple program that just reads values, its not something you need to install, just unzip and run "cpuz.exe". Or if your system is a prebuilt system from a company like Dell, HP, Emachine, etc, providing a model number would allow us to look up the information.

Well you could use some more ram.. you computer is pretty outdated to begin with. But what video card are you running? CPU-Z won't show that... Right click on your desktop and then go to you display settings it should list it somewhere around there..

Yeh, i'll do that... but one of my friends told me that i can actually transform some of my Hdrive memo into RAM to get better preformance, so i did...
I busted down 4096MB of my C memo... and well it didint really help me to get rid of the lags. But i'll still buy the thingy this week. |

And yes, i have 1 more simple question... Whats "dual core CPU"
Its from Fraps' website... "If you have a dual core CPU there are no resolution restrictions for full-size capture and you can record video up to 2560x1600." Can u plz tell me what "dual core CPU" means? O.o |
