G5s in XBox, Intels in Apples (and Apples in Intels set-top box)

G5s in XBox, Intels in Apples (and Apples in Intels set-top box) - what is the world coming to?

First, Microsoft choses to use the Mac's G5 for is next gen XBox

Second, the Playstation 3 uses the new Cell processor, which is... a G5 packed into rows

Third, Apple sez it's switching to INTEL (but not for a few years)
Fourth, INTEL is coming out with 'Entertainment systems'. Since when did INTEL do anything "OUTSIDE", right?, "Intel Inside", right?

THEREFORE: Intel must be using Apple technology to build Tee-Vee boxes. Sure, it will say INTEL outside, and have an INTEL chips, but its logic, its software, and its functionality will be pure MAC.

Oh, and just 'cause I'm in the mood:
Ya' know, when I sit down at a Window PC these days, it's just embarrassing. I feel like I've stepped back a decade. At least. I mean, really People. All you do is surf the web anyway. And occasionally write a letter. Or send and email. Microsoft MUST know this. Of course, you can alway fool most everyone, if it's cheap enough.

I'm gonna say this only once. Some things in life, you want cheap. But I sure can't think of many. Even cheap paper plates suck. So why would you want a cheap computer? Of course, your company does. They "save" $500 on a computer. And lose $10,000 in productivity. But that's big business for you.

As I found out, the bigger the company I worked for, the LESS work they wanted out of me. Especially for publicly traded companies like Schwab. Each department didn't actually have to MAKE money. So the goal was to have as many staff as possible, to ensure that your budget kept growing. Including the IT department, of course. Why buy a computer that is easy to use and maintain? You would lose staff, and therefore POWER.

THIS is what Microsoft knows. And why it wins in the business world. MS figured out that if you hide everything under an infinite number of "Tabbed" interfaces, no one but your own trained staff could figure it out. Except the trained staff can't figure it out. Which is why I have NEVER, and I repeat, NEVER seen a server network set up correctly. "Correctly" means, by Microsoft's own guidelines. (I am an MCSE, making me love my Mac even more.)

There, that feels better.

1. There is so much fanboyism in that, I cannot regard that as neiter a logical sound opinion, nor a valid point.

2. The G5 is not "the macs" The current macs use the G5, which is made by IBM. Microsoft isn't the one touting the x86 architecture, they just write an OS for it. Using Apple technology to make T.V. boxes, that's just a childish opinion of someone holding an anger against a company. And your spelling "Tee Vee" isn't funny, it's infantile. Well, Mr. MSCE, if you have Longhorn (Now vista), you'd realize that Windows is improving. I like Macs, don't get me wrong, but Windows is not such as bad as you make it out to be. You are clearly a Windows hater. As for the rest of the crap you've posted. Give me some proof of a decent degree in business. That's just an angry anto-corporate opinon. Some of which may have been represented by your previous employers, but, you cannot accurately classify all corporations of operating in that fashion. I also doubt, that you as one person can plan a server setup better than Microsoft, and I also doubt you have an MSCE.
