I had one of those POS mobos, but damn if it would run fer crap. BIOS reported temps almost 25c off. I got a huge scare with the 2 I tried to make work happy for me. I'm sure the 2nd was a BIOS issue, but as far as memory and temps issues...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I won't buy anything Asus until they make something that works with basic generic ram. Picky mobos aren't worth my effort, but I'm a lazy bastard.

i am sure i had exactly the same problem with my A7N8X-X,
stick with 06 i had no probs since exept maybe the temp (MB 22c CPU35c,after gaming 42c)thought it was ok but maybe i was wrong? |

Hi, I work in the disti channel supplying Asus and other boards.
In my experience, there are far too many problems and returns with Asus boards aimed at the value sector. In short, avoid anything that ends with: -X -MX or -VM !!! www.pcmatrix.co.uk |
