4 pin Molex power cable hooked up to 12V battery

Hello

Im trying to rig computer case fans as heat evacuators (not for a computer case) that would be hooked up to a 12V battery.
Im trying to control the temp. with a computer fan controlling unit. The controller unit is comes with the standard Molex 5V-GND-12V plug.
How can I rig the unit to attach to a 12V battery?

Thanks

Randall

Molex connectors usually have three or four wires: Orange, one or two Black, Yellow. Orange is 5vdc, Yellow is 12vdc, and the black(s) are ground. Simply wire your Yellow line to the positive terminal of your Battery and the black to the negative terminal.
