Probably not without doing some MAJOR work, if at all. the architecture is fairly different.
BTW< you can also turn your gamecube and PS2 into linux-machines. Check www.Linux.org for more flavors.
I use SOTLinux in one of my systems. Got it from there.

You need a mod-chip to do that. AND IT IS ILEGAL.

LiDo is right. When you purchase an XBOX you in de facto agree to NOT alter the XBOX in any way, shape, or form. And there's no way you could get any p2 to mimic an XBOX. Maybe a p4 if you're an engineer with majors in coding, electronics, and system design, but otherwise, just buy an XBOX. Its cheaper than lots of midrange vid cards.

Is this thread supposed to say how to change your xbox into a pc? Cause if I can turn my pc into an xbox, how do I do it? I'm not seeing how. This would mean I could play xbox games on my pc then too right?

if you can, not saying that you can, you wouild need an emulator. The emulator emulates the "system" you wish to run. I know of some Sega ones and i have the PS one, but never herd of a Xbox. I don't own any XBOX games so it would be worthless for me...... B/c you need the legal games to run on them...

It's not hard to get the games, I could get some if someone made an emulator.

What is the point trying to make the xbox a pc and vice versa? Why not just strip its parts and buy proper pc parts (microATX mobo) and stick them in there.
If you looking to install and OS on a xbox it is possible but requires you to do some serious reprogramming, MS dont make it easy for you!
None the less, if youve got a pc then use it and use the xbox for gaming.

2nd of all making roms for the current console systems is risky of getting caught and paying the price. and making the xbox a pc is waste of time becuase its only a 700mhz pc and its only an intel celloron (sp?) Why do that when you can get either a good AMD or a Good Intel processors and have a much better computer.
