PS2 Problems

Hi all,

I've just signed up, so i hope you can help.

Basically my friend has a slim PS2 which he knocked over and since the disc doesn't spin, neither does the laser light, i instantly thought the laser had broken and ordered him a new one from ebay, fitted the new laser but the problem is exactly the same.

Anyone have any ideas to what it could be?

Thanks

Unsure what to think of that one... check all ribbon cables and power connections, for starters..

You can look at this: http://forums.gamewinners.com/forum...ad.php?t=513070 for more information - perhaps something there will solve your problem.
