Loading ROMS onto a Modded XBOX

Ok, so I have a modded xbox and all that good stuff, but I am running into a problem trying to put an NES emulator on my xbox and running it... I used Flash FXP to load the roms and the emulator (xnex.xbe, along with default.xbe) and edited the code in the evox.ini file to read these. I put them under the folder Old School and when I boot up my xbox, I can find Old School and inside of it there is one file named Nintendo. When I choose to open this, it goes to my Evolution X loading screen then just goes back to the original Evolution X startup screen, like it rebooted but without actually rebooting. I am running off of a Chameleon chip. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! I stayed up half the night trying to figure it out with no success.

Why dont you try using your pc instead of your xbox. That is the only legal advice that I can give. But other than that ur on your own.

ROMS aren't illegal. If you own a copy of the original game on it's originally intended and authorized material, it's legal.

A: It's a grey area, but the short answer is no. If you own the games, then it is generally considered legal for you to play emulated versions of the game (that you're supposed to have made yourself). This is like the argument behind copying moves. Of course, if you do not own the game, then by playing a ROM you are in fact stealing, which is illegal.

Q: Since it's not illegal to play ROMs why don't you allow talk of it on this forum?
A: Since we have no way of knowing if you in fact own the "tons" of ROMs you say you have, and there is the chance that you are stealing them instead, we take the safe road and disallow it. While the TOS you agreed to when you registered protects DevH and it's respective owners from legal action taken by the copyright holders of the ROMs you might discuss here and/or Microsoft for modding, again, discussion of it is banned here.
