Unhappy USB problem

Hallo every one.
Last week i had my old PC.It was to old and i was unable to play games on good frame rate so i bought new PC. AMD X2 64 5600+ 1 GB ram .But after instaling XP on my PC i tried to plug in my logitech joystic. But there was some problems. For expamle:I get in Game Controllers menu and made a test.I moved analogs in every side and they got stuck some times. Not analogs in joystick but those dots what show how analogs are moving.I made every thing properly.I instaled joystick drivers then i tried to plug it in different USB ports(Slots) But nothing. Then i took my joystick to friend to test it.He pluget it in and every thing was ok.So i thought it's usb slot problem but no.I have I-Pod,digital camera and video camera and they all work very well.
So if some one got such problem or had and know the way out then please tell me.

And the second problem is strange also. When i get in some games (For example:GTA SanAndreas,FarCry,CS 1.6) i got VERY high frame rate. And game runs very fast. It's even impossible to play.Once i joined one of CS 1.6 servers and got banned for speed hack.

I will be thank full for any help. And sorry for my English

Almost sounds like something is messing with your clock... Have you tried clearing the CMOS on your board?

As for the joystick, are you using the latest drivers you can find?

The CMOS is like a small piece of memory that remembers all your low-level settings... There should be a jumper on your motherboard that, when moved, will clear it.

By clock I mean the clock that runs on your machine and tracks the seconds that pass

If the clock is (for some obscure reason) running slower than "real time", you will get loads more FPS as more frames can be rendered per "second" because the second lasts longer, if you get me... I once had a clock that actually stopped following time altogether, it was quite weird. Clearing the CMOS fixed it, though, because the time is stored in your CMOS memory

read the manual of your mobo to find out how to clear the cmos.

if you dont have the manual, look for it's brand & model number, which is printed on the mobo, usually near/around the pci slots. you then go to the manufacturer's website & download the manual, and read ALL of it, carefully.

when all else fails, rtfm
