Mp4 problem

i have a mp4 player...purchesed by my brother in american base while he was on peace mission in kosovo...that doesnt matter tho...the problem is that the player worked just fine until today..and now the computer won't detect it....its like i haven't plugged anything in....and i can't turn it on either...now i donno what could be wrong....i asked my bro and he said that the brand is fly joy...but i tried googleing it and i didn't get any results...usualy when i plugged it in it had a different name...something with a...but whatever...does any one of you know how to fix this or what might be the problem?
