Angry I cant get my mp3 to turn on!

i got a mp3 2day and it worked all the way up to the point when i put it in my comp. It's a delstar DS-1036. my comp has windows 98...and when found out that u needed to use the disk to make it work i decided to use it in the xp. but when i pulled it out to go put it in the xp it wouldnt turn back on! the batt is fine. it doesnt even work when i plug it into the comp...it just is blank. Then i found out ur supposed to safley remove it or sumthing (which i didnt!) and there's not a reset button on it so i dont know wat to do! please someone just help my here!

So your computer doesn't detect it at all? when you plug it in, you don't see it show up in explorer or when you view your system hardware?

nope nuttin happens. it worked the first time when i took it out of the xp....it recognized it was out of that. but when i put it in my 98 and took it out it just totally stopped working!
