There is some MP3 Player utilities on the CD too but that won't seem to install either. The CD whizzes round lots tho and I had something saying "I/O error" The instructions are in some funny translation of English with an apple sign in the corner lol... Needless to say this was bought on EBay a couple of months ago.

On the MP3 player the menu shows these options. Music, record, voice, FM radio, text, picture, phone book, games, movie, sys setup.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me getting this thing connected to my PC...

Many thanks

Chrissy

do you have a psp? because if you do since i can't seem to get music on my mp4 player exactly like yours. i downloaded the songs to my psp which is easy and then i put the speaker of the psp close to the microphone of the mp4 player and recorded the song. then aftre go to the "voice" menu and press play and listen. dont put the psp too close to the mp4 player. it's a little fuzzy probably depending how loud the psp is or how close you put it but it's a great alternative

MP4 Player-how does it work with itunes? or can it?

Excellent information by the way! My neighbor's daughter got one and she comes over every once in a while for help with complicated things. Yes, it is complicated compared to my ipod. Looks like an IPOD but isn't as intuitive as one. The buttons are practically non responsive and the menu can be a bit unpredictable. I plugged it into my MAC and of course i-tunes didn't recognize it. It really does look like FAKE IPOD. We dragged songs from my orig. files onto the FAKE IPOD (Digital MP4 Player) and you can clearly see the songs on the FINDER (when hooked up to the iMAC), but then when you unhook and look at the Fake IPOD, some of the songs are there and others are not. What is the best way to reformat the FAKE IPOD so that you can just start all over and is there an updated firmwhare for the FAKE IPOD? Thank you!
