Question Help me decide!

As some of y'all know, I'm trying to decide what my next digital camera should be. I know I want the 10x optical. Since hey is a body boarder, I want to capture pics of him out in it. My 35mm is ok, but I can't use the zoom without a tripod...a pain in the sand. SO...I first discovered the Kodak 6490...love it! I have a Kodak DX3500 now...easy to use, love the dock! BUT, jka & jazzy are telling me about the Minolta DiMage Z2. I also just read a review at newegg on the Olympus C740. Any thoughts out there guys/gals?!! I'm selling my 35mm to get a base for my savings...I have a bit to save up, trying to do proper research, though! Thanks for any help!

Looks like they are making a Z3, haven't herd anything about it, but it looks good, 4MP 12X opt zoom.

I'm sure the Z3 is going to cost a ton.

Check out the cameras there.

Otay...just did a quick check...they do look good...but I'm wanting the 10x optical zoom that the Kodak has...sooo, I guess I might just stick with the Kodak 6490!! Sorry JKA & jazzy, but this has more of what I'm looking for...besides...the whole dock thing works well with me...have one now & love it!
