Question Drivers for Ilo MP3 player?

I've had my MP3 player a while now, and when I first got it I didn't know how to do something properly and I ended up trying to view the files by connecting it via USB port to my computer. What ended up happening is no songs showed up on the computer and to fix this I had to reformat the MP3 player because I didn't know what else to do.

I don't remember if that was on the Dell or the eMachine, but neither of those are what I'm on now. Now I'm using my hubby's Compaq ( which I hate, both because it's a laptop and because it's made by Compaq/HP ) because the Dell is too slow and my eMachine has locked me out.

I just tried hooking up my MP3 player to this computer because all my music files were on the eMachine, but my music isn't showing up when I try to go to My Computer/MP3 Player or when I go to WMP and try to open it up. Both recognize the player itself, but no files. When I power on the MP3 player the songs appear and play as if nothing is wrong.

What can I do to fix this? Is there a driver I'm missing? Can I get this from a website or do I need to fight the gremlins in the back of the storage closet to attempt to find the original disc ( if I still have it).
