Watercooling core2duo w/ 7950gt

core 2 duo e6600 with a 7950gt.

Does anyone make waterblocks for these yet? if so.. what are the best ones?

Also.. for pumps.. what kind of power is required for this setup while keeping the sound level down as low as possible?

Thanks for any help!

theres alot of waterblocks available with unversal brackets so you can fit them on anything u want to - provided the waterblock isnt too big for the desired location.

measure how much space u have and find out what water blocks are available. id suggest finding which water blocks u are going to use first, then get a pump that can provide enough pressure & flow rate. i dunno what blocks are best to use, do a search on google for waterblock reviews. the reviews should give you an indication of how much pump power is required.

my water cooling is silent @ 1meter because the pump is submerged & sitting on foam in the middle of a 50lt reservoir, but thats a little exxtreme. you can get great results by using large as possible radiator, preferably 2. each radiator can have 2x 120mm fans at slow near-silent speeds - that will give awesome & quiet cooling.
ehiem is one good reliable brand of pump.

edit: just thought of an idea: u could sandwhich 2x 120mm fans with two radiators, that way u get half the noise. it wouldnt be as good as using 2x rads with 2x 120mm fans each, but close

there are alot of waterblocks out there for the LGA775 socket type. The card might be hard. It depends on the dimensions. there are some out there that are like for generic 7x00 series cards, so those might work.
