Thermaltake Mozart TX pelt system

Hello all

I am currently working on the most recent incarnation of my peltier-cooled PC. I've already sacrificed more equipment than I care to share, so let's just say I want to get it right this time. I recently switched over to and intel core 2 duo platform. I have the following components in my system:

Motherboard: DFI LANParty UT NF680i LT SLI-T2R

Peltier waterblock:
Swiftech MCW6500-T-775 Thermoelectric CPU Liquid Cooling Block (Socket 775)

The reason I post is that I'd like to hear suggestions for prepping the CPU socket of the board. I'm pretty sure the last time I took a try at this, the part I messed up on was the CPU installation/preparation. The installation guide is one of the first PDF hits you get off google when you search for the waterblock model. At the point in the guide that describes this process, it says to use a "generous amount" of dielectric grease. Is it supposed to spread out under the CPU chip, between it and the socket pins? or just fill in the center section so that it can't form condensation? or both?

Also, anyone have any suggestions on how much of the conformal coating to use?
