Help removing Accelero X1!

I gotta take the Accelero X1 off one 6800gt and put it on another 6800gt. Now i cant take it off, is there something i can do without having to tear the ram chips right off the board. Its dead thats why.

I remember putting it on there, that was a problem n a half, cuz i have the Leadtek 6800GT. But anyway yea any help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: Problem Solved! Anyone else inexperienced wanting to remove an aftermarket cooler:

Use a blowdryer to heat up the thermal pads which were my problem holding the card in place. When its fairly warm, be careful not to overdo it or you could burn ure hands (as i found out the hard way lol :P) anyway.

Moving on, GENTLY turn it right and left until it comes loose. Works like a charm
