Something odd happened...


Went to see what the PIT was in Ese, and suddenly I've lost all my belongings and am back to level 1. Everything but hitpoints reset, so I'm missing ~1600 gold and a few gems and other stuff, but I figure that's part of the game.... the trouble is getting it back though. Now when I go to fight, even starting out with 20 hitpoints instead of 10, I'm struggling to kill level 1 opponents, whereas before I'd generally not get touched most battles. Is this normal?

[Edit] Also, even though I re-puchased a weapon (rake), my attack is still only 1. Maybe this is the cause of the problem fighting above?

Seems to be an issue releasing the weapon when resetting the character... after a rest it still says you have the same weapon, but your attack resets to 1. Re-purchasing the rake in my case doesn't give the attack bonus it ought. Getting a different weapon from the blacksmith returned my attack to 2, but the 20HP at level 1 is still odd.

If you ignore the warnings to the pit, then your character is definitely reset back to nothing. Your race/specialties decide what your attack rating is. So when you bought a stronger weapon, your attack went up.

And 10 hp for level 1 is normal.

Quests!!! :ARGH: there is very little information as to what to do, maybe if there was a quest log or something like that to help....

What fun would it be if everything were spelt out for you? If you DO stumble on a quest, you will be given enough information to go on..

go find a girl and give her a toy! now that is a ton of info.

Well, as it is with alot of things in the game, once you start a quest, it "enables" certain random events which will help you along...

I am going to assume that the random events are while in forest fights...is that correct?

Random events happen in the forest, and some in the village as well. Im not going to give an exact answer, because that would just ruin the fun

I dont know if its just me but when I try and login the screen shows nothing related to the game just adds.

Sometimes the game gets "lost". When this happens, let us know and we can reset you. But I'll need to know your characters name to do so...

I was in the game then kicked out. Once I "enter the game" and it then says "Last time you were here, you disconnected without exiting."

Also I just cleared all private data cache cookies etc and still same ss.

Try clearing your browser cache and try again. What does that "click here" link point to on the left side?
