Always the way - I must be a change magnet or something.
I have to go away for 2 days from early tomorrow and the next day. Not a long time away but trust me to be going away when the clients have to be changed.
Our flight is early, now I will have to do the updates tonight and all but 1 machine (! only have 1 non SMP/GPU) - I know your hearts are bleeding for me lol .
I will see if I can get online but I may be off air once I finish up tonight.
Hopefully I can get thorgh the SMP?GPU updates without to much drama.

I have opted for the chickens way out for now - with going away in the morning, so I downloaded the 5.91 SMP with extended deadline.
Loaded the console version of the new GPU and it seems to be going - must say I like the tray version will swtich all over to 6.2 and tray when I get back and can babysit.
2 more machines to go and a few minutes to a GPU wu completing to see if it uploads ok [fingers crossed icon].

I think I have reloaded everything.
Noticed the lovely GPU servers are playing havoc still, I imagine it must be hard for the stanford guys at the moment having to front up to so many problems lately.
If you cannot get anywhere I went for the 5.91 b6 extended deadline and they appear to be up and running, so it may get you going for now while you figure out what to do. I just had one client complete a WU (that was at 97% before the upgrade = so I was a little brave ) and it completed, sent and started another WU ok.
It was an easy upgrade as it just replaces the old fah client.
I renamed it fah.exe and reran my install just to be safe. I always make a copy of the work folder after closing the client and before doing anything so that if the WU gets a communicatoins error or anything on restart you hopefully can recover by stopping the client, reloading from the work folder copy, fixing any problems and trying to start the client again. Just my way of trying to keep as many of the points worked on as possible from the many learnings I have had losing WU's in my little time folding.
Off to bed, I will check things in the morning before I head of for 2 days.

From memory first time it happended to me it is when you restart the actual client. As long as it is running is usually keeps fold, but I am sure there must be some point where it gives up. Best to do it when you can and sooner than later.
