Hey, i did 10 awhile ago! And I figure I'll start again. Maybe you can help me get it working, I downloaded the latest, text-only client because the graphical one gave me troubles last time thus I stopped it for a long time. I'm not looking to fold like crazy, right now it's only useing 25% of my CPU and 6megs of Ram. I set it to be like, lower then dirt in my priority. Anyhoo, I have some questions, firstly, how can I like typoe in that config command, currently it just shows "Competed 0 out of 10000000 steps (0)" and it's been like that for 18 minutes. I can't type into that console window and if I close the window it ends. I basically just want it so that it runs in the background, never disturbes me and I can't even tell it's there. what do I need to do.

yep. exactly what tejas said.
to get into that section, you gota create a shortcut to FAH and then put the -config flag or the -configonly. then when you set it up, tell it to start up as a service, next time you reboot it will be on as a service. or you could just close the window once you're done (or it does that when you use configonly - that is, config only) and you can go to administrative tools in control pannel, services and start teh service. (i just HATE restarts)

you can also install it back into the exact same place (directory and sub-folders with same names) and then during the config select yes at remove the service.
You can manually remove obsolete services by following the article here. The safest way to remove the F@H service is to go through the config mode and type the appropriate commands to 'remove the service.'
