Just behind me.
Instead of teh USB flash drives, you can get IDE-CF converters for a couple bucks off eBay and use those cheesy 16-32MB CF cards everyone seems to have lying around being useless.

Oooh, that would work better for old hardware that doesn't support USB boot Unfortunately I don't have any CF cards laying around, but I can get them at work for 25% over cost. Thanks for the tip D1.

I'm starting to get pissed off-- my ppd is down (kids are using the computer more) and I haven't found any time lately to get in the lab and work on the farm. I still have one article to finish writing and two more I want to start.
On a somewhat lighter note (relatively speaking), I had the pleasure just now of blasting a whiny-ass bitch of an eBay seller who forgot to mention that the board he was selling was proprietary and required a special power supply (he didn't like that I gave him a neutral feedback):

Yuhuh... it's a freakin' Dell, with that legacy AT connector for the 3.3v... but I obviously don't know what I'm doing with computers.
Oh, and btw, I also bitched that his shipping the board in newspaper was not ESD safe. His reply, "Newspaper is antistatic and absorbs shock nicely."

This auction is for 2 working motherboards with ram and working processor and heatsink. 1 motherboard is a pentium 3 clocked at 666MHZ and the other motherboard is a celeron clocked at 333MHZ. Both have ram installed on the boards. Not sure if they work but most likely do. 4 PCI 56k cards included too. Both Motherboards and processors are guarenteed to work but i dont know about the extra stuff. The pentium 3 has only a heatsink and i've even played games on it in the past like a graphic intensive game such as phantasy star online and Halo and it didn't get that hot but if you feel you need one then get one. Not expensive at all to get a fan. Hope these are what you want and happy bidding.
ROFLH...hahahaha......omg....I truly hope they work out for you, D1
