Ati mobility 9000 folding?

Ati mobility 9000 folding?

can you use a laptop's ati mobility 9000 gpu to help fold?

im very noob to the ati folding, sorta just found out about it. can folding run on cpu & ati gpu at the same time?
if so, how do you set this up? is it automatic?

Supported Ati cards start from x1650pro and unfortunately it also uses part of a cpu. So if you were folding using a gpu on a dual-core rig, you would have 2 clients (1cpu and 1gpu).

i thought i was missing something! i just saw there are gpu clients for download below the normal clients

Yeah gpu client folding seems to be the way ahead (for now)...the extra ppd is too good to miss out on.

Was waiting on an addiotnal x1900xtx card but have been let down..that'll teach me to try and get it on the cheap from a mate. But my other mate is wanna sell me his x1800xt 512mb card (still to work out a price).

I've convinced him that it will have to be cheap as I can pick up a x1650xt cheaply and it has 24 pixel shader processors, against his x1800xt card only having 12 psp's. I give him good deals on stuff I acquire so I could be looking at as low as 70quid...they are still over 200quid to buy here.
