Well you should. And we need to talk sometime again soon.
And ya, you really should watermark your shots... its a definite must when putting up these kind of numbers. Oh and brian... you need to get that chip on a new board or something under better cooling or whatnot... You are 3 hundredths of a second away of being tied for the 10th fastest super pi time ever. OK. Since you requested my help at TLTE - here it goes. My assistance won't be sub-par.
![]() Do you like the following example? ![]() If yes - here's how you can do it. Visit this site and download the freeware utility called Digital Image Tool. It is an amazing light-weight application that sports a lot of handy features and most importantly a really user-friendly interface. It has batch function so you can resize, apply the watermark, and convert thousands of images at the same time. The default watermarking options are quite boring; they add just a (C) at the center of the image. Nevertheless, the utility has a function where you can set your custom watermark logo (transparent PNG file). Therefore, I have actually sit down and designed a custom transparent logo just for you. I hope you like it. Download it from: here. Save it. And then at the Watermark option select the 3rd option on the right (it's the last one) and the Open Image... dialog box pops up. You select the custom watermark and rock on. I've noticed that sometimes the "Preview" acts weird with this custom PNG but the conversion works great. You actually shouldn't really preview since you can save to a different output folder and check them out from there. ![]() ![]() Hint-- I'd suggest using 70% transparency for watermarking (that's what I used in the example above). It makes the screen readable, however, the mark is still visible and no parts of the screen can be copy-pasted anymore without the watermark. I personally haven't used that Digital Image Tool application until now. I've got Adobe Photoshop CS3 so it does everything that I need. I usually add my watermarks manually but setting up action scripts can be done too when batch feature is required (more files). But I was searching for a utility that does all of this without the hassle of Photoshop (it's $$$ and the GUI isn't user-friendly) and that's how I found it. It is also freeware. There are hundreds of other apps that are claiming to sport great watermarking functions but they all cost around $30-50. And besides, I think Digital Image Tool does the job really well. EDIT: You can also certainly be proud since the font used is called Agendia Std and it was designed by a German photographer Ralf Herrmann for use on his very own limited photography calendar. It really looks amazing on headlines, logos, and other markings because of its unique typographic style. Check out the following samples from the calendar: link, link, etc. More information here and here - just if you are interested. ![]() EDIT2: I've created another logo on which Team OCX is also pointed out. Check it out. Download the logo from here. ![]()
