Too bad it is a 660 and not a 930.
Would have a dual 65nano that would quite possibly run in the 4.2-4.4 ghz range. Would pwn your 660!
just a follow up question to what you said. why is the 930 cheaper than the 660 when it is more advance processor? with this said, is the 930 better that the 660? thanks

I think you could probably get it into the 2GHZ range, but I really doubt you'll be seeing it anywhere near the 3GHZ range. Somebody more experienced could explain how better than me if you start your own thread, or better yet, read this: http://www.devhardware.com/forums/c...ting-97163.html

The scene of overclocking a computer system can be threatening for a computer greenhorn, to say the least. The idea is uncomplicated enough make the computer's processor run quicker than its stock speed to gain more performance without paying for it. The effecting of this idea though, can be anything but simple. Followings are the steps of overclocking.
1 Know the precise definition of overclocking and know what you are doing.
2 Understand that not all computers can be overclocked.
3 The BIOS.
4 Clearing your CMOS
5 Locked or Unlocked.
6 Multiplier Unlocked Processors.
7 Getting Your System Stable.
8 Test Utilities.
9 Memory Timings.
10 Memory chip quality.
11 Athlon 64 Overclocking.
