AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+
Hi, i was looking at overclocking my cpu (stated above) but when i go into my bios and try to change the cpu multiplier i cant the maximum is 10x. my mobo is an msi K9NU NEO-V if any one could tell me my options that would be great.

i have heard of people ocing their 3800+ to around 2.4ghz though.... is there atleast the possibility of doing this or is it a big NO?

allright thanks got everything going got bsod at 2.4 so i dropped down to 2.3 and everything seems fine

I had a 3800x2 got it to 2.8GHzm but heat was to much due to bad Cpu cooler so kept it at 2.7GHz
Multiplier@10 CPU Frequency@ 270mhz (Basically FSB) HTT Multiplier@ 3X VCORE Had to be set at 1.55 i think on my Gigabyte M61P-S3 I was using DDR2 800Mhz memory and i lowered the ratio down so the memory was set at 667MHz so overclocked it didnt go over stock speeds. |
