Which monitor is better suited to PS3 console gaming?

Hi there,
So I just got a PS3 and am noticing significant input lag when I play it off my HDTV and from what I gather PC monitors are far better suited to console gaming compared to TV's. So I've been tossing up between a few and this is what I have narrowed it down to:
The BenQ XL2420T
The Asus VG278H
The Viewsonic VX2453MH-LED
and The Asus VH236H, but from what I've seen it is quite outdated now and The VG278H is better.
I really want a monitor that offers me a great image, runs native in 1080p and has minimal input lag/ a good refresh rate so that games will run smoothly. I'd really appreciate any advice/ experience with either monitors (Please don;t take price into Account.)

I would try and make sure that what you desrcibe as input lag is from your TV.
For the LCD's you suggested they all have similar specs including viewing angles and response times. Benq is slightly brighter but I would be going for the 27" (Asus VG278H) if I was choosing from those.
