Exclamation ViewSonic's 22" VX2235wm Pixel-Walk

I am having a problem with my ViewSonic's 22" VX2235wm. The montior has problems with pixel walk (that is, the visible "drifting" of pixels on startup..). The monitor only has this problem after resuming from sleep mode (orange light status after computer shutdown or sleep). I can simply fix this problem by turning the monitor off and on manually using the power button, but doing this day after day is just annoying.
Here are the test results from an online Inversion Test located here.

After resuming from standby:
2a, 2b, 4a, 4b flashing. All others noticibly "walking".

After restarting the monitor manually:
4a / or 4b depending on scrolling.

Is there any way I can easily fix this issue, possibly by forcing the monitor to turn off, and not into its standby mode?

I am running native resolution: 1680x1050px

Thanks for your help.

Does the problem go away after a certain (short) period of time or does it stay there until the monitor goes through a power on.

What is the OS and graphics card so someone that know the card can see if there are any settings that may help.

The problem remains until I restart the monitor manually, and doesn't go away by itself.

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate with a Nvidia 8800GTS 512 graphics card.

Just to check things try and check the settings (from the monitor menu) for the resolution and refresh rate after a power on and then again when the picture is faulty after a resume from sleep. Depending on whether these settings change is our next step.

What video cable and length are you using?

Have you tried loading the CD and any driver that came with the monitor?

Have you set the monitor type in your graphics card settings?
