Samsung 21.6" (216BW)

I am looking to replace my 19" CRT with a new LCD monitor, I do a little of everything on the computer and don't really want to spend more then 250$CND. I seen this Samsung 21.6" Widescreen LCD Monitor (216BW) for 249$ and was considering it as my purchase but thought I would post asking anyone ones feedback on this monitor. Positive or nagative feedback is welcome.

PS: It stays there Samsung 223BW ( the European Version of the 216BW, same monitor but different marketing. )

I think I am going to get the 226BW it is now selling for 299$ CND and appears to be a great monitor for the price.

I don't know it's that's a wiser choice.
The 226 BW has a pretty bad rep.

Personally I would advice to stick with the 216BW, cause Samsung is the only one that makes 21.6 inch panels, so for sure you'll get a great product

What about the HP 2207H?

i got an acer 22" wide from new egg for 220 US

I heard that it's one of the best LCDs with TN panel, but sadly my country isn't in the list where they import this kind of products.

But guided after the reviews I would say that's one of the best choices you can make...

Sad to say I missed out on the 216BW and took your advice to bypass the 226BW, as for the HP 2207H I seen the 2207 and on web sites with text, the smaller font had this really bad green glow around all the text so I skip on this as well. Now I am looking at the 226NW. Any thought's on this model? thanks for your previous reply's.
