Hi Davide,
My power board does not have any numbers like that.

By the way, a friend of mine have been able to find an electrical diagram of Liteon power board U170ATA/U170BT. As I assume your LCD is still open can you check if the circuit board report an identification number?

thank you

Davide

hello
i didn't find any replacement boards from anywhere, so i just left the thing into the corner... i found a manufacturer's site for the board from the web, but they didn't reply to phones nor emails...
unfortunately i dont even remember which board was blown.. it had just 1 little tiny conductor that blew.

I repair these monitors and look for them on Ebay. But they are not repairable by the average user. There are no user servicable parts inside

I know it is a long time since my last messages, but I thought I would give you all an update.
I recently got a Compaq FP5315 on ebay for £20, thinking it would have the same boards as the 7317. Unfortunately, it is entirely different and the boards are much smaller. The power LED on the 5315 flashed green on and off and there was no picture. I discovered this was due to dry joints on each side of a small diode, which I resoldered and is now working perfectly.
I still have the no power problem with the 7317, and I looked for dry joints, but with no luck. It is a PTB-1355 board that is needed. I could narrow it down further if I could get hold of the circuit diagram. How has everyone else got on in the meantime?
