Need Some Help with Computer Monitor Choice

Hi guys,
Been struggling with a computer monitor choice.
I recently picked up a Samsung 40' 6300 LED TV and absolutely love it. It has amazing picture, the blacks are almost inky and the whites are bright and sharp.
I would like to get a monitor that has similar quality. I am looking for between 24 - 27 inch monitor, that has low refresh rates for gaming. Thought about doing another LED since I was so impressed with the Samsung but not sure.
Like I have said I really like the 6300 and would like to get the same results only in a monitor.
Any recommendations or advice is greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
soundguy_99
