Nec 24wmgx3 issues help

hello, i got the lcd 24wmgx3 but for some reason i notice a line of green leaves in the bottom of the monitor as if it marks something or represent a certain state that the monitor is at. its strange cause i cant make it go away but only at times when i press the menu botton or trying to change some settings on the monitor-and when i finish, it comes back on the screen.
does anyone knows what is it all about or if its another failure that needs a proffesional opinion?
thanks
