Thanks for the Great Pics!
Thanks Tester Dude for the great pics and instructions to fix the NEC 2010X monitor. Apparently this relay has a well deserved bad reputation. The pics were extremely helpful to assist me in doing the work myself. You have a great day!

They are on picasa web, user ldparenteau. Looking for keyword nec2010x is, for now, the only hit... For those with the ability to post a link, that'd be appreciated to post the album link "as-is", I don't have that privilege as a newbie on this forum.
Now if someone could tell me why one of those monitor emits a high pitch sound similar to a transformer's "whirr" from the big blue capacitor seen on the pictures... The monitor works, but the sound is *quite* annoying for those who can hear it. I'm discussing the issue with a technician and will post the answer if I get one...(capacitor identified as MM155K-2GD: 1.5uF 400V Polyester Film Capacitor (Radial Leads) from the TAITSU corporation. Then again, link to specific product sheet is prevented by forum rules...) |
