NEC 2010x LCD blank-outs repaired

I too had very similar problems - continually got worse until the monitor wouldn't stay on for over 10 minutes, on/off power button non-responsive, etc. Bought the relay suggested by others from Mouser Electronics and installed - VOILA - monitor has been working awesomely for last 72 hours!! Thanx for the tip as I love the monitor.

Congratulations on your success.

It would be great if you could post any tips or tricks you did while doing the repair to help others. Something that may seem simple to you can be a goldmine of information for someone else.

Did you ever get the back off? I used a flat screwdriver between the seam in the sides of the case. there are come clips that you need to push in. 3 on the top & bottom. (left, center, right) and 2 on each side.
