Monitor disconnects from laptop, has to be rebooted to connect
My boss has a Dell Laptop (not sure of the model, I'd have to reply later if needed) that is connected to a larger Dell monitor. A few times a day the monitor will go black and disconnect the feed from the laptop. The only way to bring it back is to reboot the laptop. I'm not a hardware person so I haven't a clue why this is happening. Any help would be apprecitated.

go to start -> control panel -> power options and change the time on turning off the monitor to a large amount
