Help some old eyes.

I screwed up with the last monitor/video card I ordered. Now my husband has a headache trying to see the tiny words on the screen because the resolution is too high for the monitor.

I am going to be buying a new desktop with a 20 or 21 inch screen, probably wide screen because that is all that is offered in the big box stores online. Are HD screens worth it? Also, what NVidia card would work well with that monitor? I want my husband to not have a headache looking at tiny words. I want normal size words, like you got on the old CRT monitors!

We do not play games. This computer will be for internet and some photography.
