Help choosing a monitor

hello everyone,
i'm new around here and since this is my first post i would like to grab this opportunity and congratulate everyone for their efort in this forum. good job you guys.

i have started this thread because i want to buy a new monitor.
currently i'm on a dual monitor setup
1) samsung 226bw 22" 16:10 (1680*1050)
2) samsung 940n 19" 4:3 (1280*1024)

i'm thinking on changing the second monitor with a 24" 16:9 (1920*1080)

these monitors uses TN technology from which i'm very dissapointed
samsung 226bw says 2ms delay
but it's LAGGY as hell when i play games

so i was thinking on MVA or IPS technology(though IPS is really expensive)

i'm not sure about my budget yet but i'm thinking somewhere around $250-$300

can anybody help me decide what i need?
thank you in advance...

If you want to buy new monitor, its very recommended to choose the monitor with high resolution. This is to avoid and getting the best result for images display.

resolution will be 1920*1080 no matter what
it's pretty standard on 24" monitors

i would like some suggestion on which panel technology and what refresh frequency the monitor should have

but i still can't decide what i want :-(

Help choosing a monitor

My vote is always for Samsung, and the bigger is better.

It is not easy to choose the good quality monitors. If you are searching for a good company then you can get it from the help of our company. You can buy it in a very affordable range also.

Open your own thread so it does not get confused with the original question.
Start a thread, let us know what you want, what you want to do with it, what is has to plug into and your price range. Also if you are in more difficult area for shipping then your general location might help those that know what is in your area help make a useful suggestion.
