ForteManager serious problems on LG W2254 Monitor

Yes, Iv'e just recently bought a new desktop system including a LG W2254 monitor and quite late in the process decided to install the monitor drivers - that is, I've untill now been quite content with the (latest) ATI ASUS EAH3450 graphic card drivers.

So together on the monitor drivers disc comes along the (enhancement) program forteManager v3.15 which has a funtion under the options tab (> input) where you can select one of two options (or maby even both) between digital or analog input source. I don't know wich one I selected as I only wanted to try it out of curiousness. But I suspect I chosed the analog as that one button-press left me with a black screen (forced to restart) and henceforth non-working digital option.

THIS MEANS:

When I have the digital (DVI) cabel connected to the monitor together with the analog VGA (D-SUB) - just as before - the BIOS and even the Windows start-up logo comes up. But after that the screen truns black and enters power saving mode and you can't do anything!

If I dissconect the DVI (using VGA only) everthing starts up as normal but I'm unable to use forteManager to switch back to digital "mode" since that cable now is not there!! And presuming you not want to connected the DVI cable while computer is running I can't figure this one out.

Thus, also, installing a (possibly) later version (with only VGA connected) of forteManager would hardly solve this. As for the site below the drivers seem older then the ones I have and apperently doesn't support my monitor (not in the list).

(URL Blocked)

Currently I've uninstalled forteManager but has the W2254 drives still installed. I've reinstalled the ATI-drivers in an fruitless attempt to turn things to normal. No 3D games are working and also the screen resolutions are all messed up in the Display Propertis > Settings.

So, how do I go about to solve this? Anyone?
(I've tried contacting LG but with no luck)

I'm Using:
Windows XP Pro SP3 build 2600
Intel Core i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz/2.68GHz
ATI ASUS EAH3450 256MB Grachic Card
(2D v6.14.10.6833, Direct3D v6.14.10.0597, OpenGL v6.14.10.7768)
4 GB RAM
and
LG W2254 driver vs 1.0.0.0.
forteManager v3.15

Partly Fixed!

Allright, so it turns out the monitor has a "button", f-ENGINE, (or more of a somewhat hidden touch-screen if you ask me) on the side that lets you switch between digital and analog input. Simple perhaps, but I feel lucky! Well, at least there some digital signal here after all!

However, I still can't get any of my installed 3D games to work, even though I've reinstalled the VGA drivers for my card (again) AND uninstalled/reinstalled one of the games! (Claims there are no OPEN GL drivers or it just hangs).

I also now uninstalled the W2254 drivers and only running on Plug and Play settings. Figured the ATI drivers should do enough anyway (did before) - if I can get them to work properly again!
