Cool Dell LP171WU1 17.0”
I have a laptop I have deconstructed.

I want to use this laptops monitor for something else.

I need help with the pin out to make it a DVI connector.

This is the spec sheet that I can't connect because I am too new. My monitors mfg makes my monitor as a LP171WU1-TLA1. There is a pdf out there with the specs.

How do I pin this to a DVI connector?

Any and all help would be appreciated.

If it is just a display panel only then you will need a display panel driver to connect it to DVI, somthing like this as an example.

This is not a trivial exercise and probably will cost more to do as a one off project than a cheap complete LCD monitor is worth.
