DC OUTPUT: 12V - 4.0A
I tried to contact the manufacturer of the adapter and they're out of business as well.
Are AC adapters universal for monitors like the USB cables? I want to purchase a replacement AC adapter on the internet or in the stores without buying a completely new monitor.

If the adapter has:
* Output 12VDC at 4A or more
* Has same connector
* Has same polarity, i.e. + and - are same
then you should be OK.
Try a Google search for "Princeton monitor ac adapter". I did a quick search and found a lot of hits.
