As PCs with upgraded technology and friendly price tags continue to flood the market, you may be tempted to purchase a new one. It’s not a bad idea, but make sure you don’t simply ignore your old PC and toss it in the trash. You probably have plenty of sensitive data still on it, so cleaning it properly is a must in the name of security and privacy.
Unfortunately, the act of just deleting files off your PC or reformatting it won’t put you in the clear. Luckily, many programs exist to simplify the process to give you extra peace of mind. One such program is Darik’s Boot and Nuke. This self-contained boot disk detects and completely deletes hard disk contents automatically. Once finished, you can then sell or toss your old PC without having to worry about putting your privacy at risk.

It is not that simple.
There are many brands that are good, I personally like MSI.
I would think about what sort of card you want and what pricepoint before I start worrying about brands, they are all fairly competitive when you get down to a specific graphics chip and similar configuration. There is also always the retailers offering specials to take into account.

If you are building a new system (including MB and PSU then this changes with what yu consider).
If you are upgrading an existing system then you need to consider your current PCi-e slot revision and width (eg PCIe 2.0 x16) and your power supply output is sufficient and able to support your Video cards power connectors as some require 1 or 2 extra power connectors, or you need to look at upgraidng your PSU or possibly getting some adapters for the power connectors.
