What is the name of this game?
If i remember correctly, it was a first-person medieval RPG, 3D, made anywhere from 1995-2003/4. The game setting was usually inside halls or crypts, most of your enemies were skeletons and undead. You had an inventory and the game had many different armors and weapons that you can wear. Kind of reminds me of the later Elder Scrolls games. (Morrowind especially) Also a lot like Return to Castle Wolfenstein (just without the guns) and because of its ability to quicksave and quickload
The only specific thing i remember is somewhere along in the game you can find an enchanted axe that acts like a boomerang. You progressed through levels by yourself, and most of the time were at risk of getting owned by creatures. I don't remember any shops, but i might be wrong. I played it back when i was maybe 12 or so, and it seemed scary at the time, not sure if it still does Anyway, would love to be able to play it again, if anyone can give me a name. |

My first thought was Gauntlet, if only because I just love the phrase, "Valkyrie... is about to die."
But I'm thinking that you are looking for either Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss or Catacomb 3D.

Those were all good suggestions. But, the graphics are more like that of Return to Castle Wolfenstein, that "new found" graphics that made the first Wolfenstein and games like Hexen seem outdated.
I don't remember any of my friends every playing it, so it must have flown under the radar. It was very good though, had the open-rpg type qualities of Morrowind. Sorry I cant provide anything else, I've posted this on 4 different forums now with no luck. If you have any other suggestions please post them. Thanks |

Perhaps it is on this list, then?

Thanks again, but it wasnt there. It is "medieval" in the sense of Morrowind being "midieval", not set in Europe in the middle ages, but has that feel of swords, axes, armor, that you get from thinking "midieval". Another thing i remeber is there is almost no character customization pre-game, you just play as the person the game is based upon (no setting skills or choosing races).
Does Wikipedia have like a list of every PC game ever made? I might actually be desperate enough to look through everything. XD Again, thanks for the post |

Wikipedia might not, but our good friend Google certainly remembers all of them.
