To the original Poster. I will give you the name of three possibilities for the name of that game. It could be Ultima 3 or 4, because there is a returning magic ax in it, which is found under the roots of a tree beside the walls of one of the towns.
Wizardy 1,2,3 or 4 perhaps, those games were great.
But what it just might be is BARDS TALE 3?
