Hi there.
Older games often don't work with XP+, but try to run it in compatibility mode, on some versions of XP it isn't avaliable, if it is it will be in the control panel in the add & remove program, you might have to reinstall the game.
Also laptops aren't the best choice to run games.
Older program and game compatiblity doesn't seem to be a high priority at microsoft, since they want you to buy their new software to replace your older software with, so greedy they are, unbelievable isn't it?
