It plays reasonably well on my radeon 8500, though it doens't look nearly as nice as your guys pics. Must be that lack of DX9, and playing at 800x600. If games nowadays are looking like this, I might actually have to get back into gaming. First I need a video card from this millenium though...

It's called "beta" for a reason. They might have only optimized for Intel at that point. Different drivers perhaps? Could be a lot of things.

You need to learn to read. Sov does not have an Nvidia card.

BTW consider this - Nvidia runs it just fine on the Xbox.

Xbox is a totaly difrent system with difrent drivers etc etc... as in where dx9 = kill nvidia

IGN just recently reviewed Halo pc and gave it something like an 8.4. They said that when they boosted up all of the graphics settings it ran slow even on high end Pc's. they also said there was some lag in LAN multiplayer seeing as how the game comes out tomorrow and they couldnt play online. Also they said the game is still balanced for Console play where aiming was not as accurate as a mouse which makes the game easier on a mouse keyboard setup.

from sound of it star wars sized patches. Damn microsoft not enough having to d/l win updates but now halo updates.

no already out been out since sunday night. and it being small bad? I love games that are good but take up less space makes me feel like fat was cut out. But if patches ensue fuck it.

Well, I know the Warez version was out. But in stores? I went to my local Best Buy and Ebgames. And they say it comes out tommorow(30th).
