Enemy Territory:Quake Wars

First off, this is my first post back in DevHardware in a VERY long time. I've been active in the hardware and networking areas in DevShed but thought I can spend a little time here, too.

Now, onto the topic at hand. I've been playing ETQW for quite some time. I enjoy it but have also noticed that it's not getting the playability as much as it could be. Is anyone here still playing it? Any personal joys or problems with it?

I tried playing the beta, and was not impressed. It looks like id software focused on eye candy instead of solid gameplay.

i play it but i cant play it online or else i would. i dont know what is wrong with the game. I know its not my computer or the servers or anything because i play on steam and xfire all the time.
