I keep them like art objects. Every now and then a company will pay for shipping and my travel expenses to display a few of them at a trade show like CES or QuakeCon.

Some have appeared on TV. The Humidor CL Server was on CBS News "Up To The Minute". I appeared on TechTV's "The Screensavers" with The Machine Age and the Humidor Mini-Me.

While I'm on a roll...the CL Server was the subject of an article in Popular Science magazine.

If you didn't know....I'm the newegg guy. I appeared in many of newegg's print ads last year.

Anyway, before my head explodes, I've had great fun with my creations. My wife thinks they will make her rich after I am dead.

Seriously though, that's pretty awesome. There are some mods that are just completely different and refresing, apart from taking a standard PC case and chopping it up. That mod is definitely one of them. Very original, and very cool!

I don't ususally like to strut my stuff. You won't find any mention of this on my site's front page like so many other modders do.

I will however use it to twist the arms of manufacterers and suppliers to give me free stuff.

The fact that I don't sell any of it makes their decision an easy one to make.

I have also made a lot of genuine good friends in the press because they realize that I am just a hobbyist. I have no secret capitalist profit motives.
