Looking for ideas for a mod!

Hey there! i got a compaq evo t30 case laying around any ides for what could fit inside the case wana make it usefull all hardware is gone! come with some ides would be nice! i was thinking on a old ps2 slim but not sure it could fit!

A ps2 slim may fit, the biggest thing you have to worry about with something like a PS2 would be the dimensions of the motherboard. Not sure if it takes up the whole slim case, if it does then you will probably run into issues.

You may be able to squeeze an itx rig in there and use it as a firewall or something, but you would have to find the internal usable dimensions of the case and see if you could find a fanless board that will fit in there.

If you are willing to see a fan or two, you are going to have more opportunities and possibilities with that mod.

That or you could do something more simple and turn it into an external hdd, doing a router swap, make it a large USB hub or any combination of those things.

im not familiar with the t30 (its a thin client isnt it?) but if you look for some atom fanless motherboards you shouldnt have a problem. they are pretty small, just make sure you find a powersupply thats small enough to fit inside... or you could mod the power supply to be external...
