How do I know wire is + or ground
My Case is a Thermaltake Armor VA8000BWS.
http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?C=1277&ID=1404
This is my first build and I want to be carefull. My MOBO shows POS(+) and NEG(-), however the Case wireing is not always clear. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to the wire colors. The back side of each connection from the CASE has what seems to be an upside down triangle. The triangle appears to indicate POS +. I would like to find out if I am correct.

well for the power button and reset button (if equipped), if wont make a difference, becuase those are just momentary switches that are just completing the circuit, and you could have those two leads hooked up bass akwards and the buttons will work just fine
but for the status LEDs like the power and HDD activity, those do have polarity and will only work in one orientation. The good thing is that you can't screw them up if you hook them up backwards they just wont work and light up, lol. If you power up and the LEDs don't light, then swap the plugs around and the LEDs should work
BUT, for things like the front USB plugs and fron audio jacks, there should be more than just "little triangles" on the plugs... there's several inputs on those. If you're lucky enough to get a case where they just group the front USB wires into one solid plug, then all you have to do is just line up the plug and push it onto the motherboard. But mose case's front panel plus are going to be individual free wires, and for the USB plugs you have 9 wires, each of wich should be individualy labled on the wires. Same with the audio plugs, they should be individualy labeled as well, and there should be 9 of those wires for the audio connecter too if I'm not mistaken.
Consolt the owners manual for the case; they SHOULD have all the diagrams in there and explain what is what, and what those little triangles are suppose to mean

TYVM. That should cover it (I will find out in the am). However the manual only lists some of the plugs well(including the USB). They don't even address the "little triangles". Thermaltakes Customer Service has been real bad. They will not get my $$$ again.
