[Help] RC-330 or Centurion 5

Okay, I found these two similar cases by CoolerMaster and I can't really seem to tell which is better.

The price is the same (after rebate) and they even look almost the same.

But it seems like more people have bought Centurion 5 instead of RC-330.

Is there a reason to that? Can anybody fill me up on those two cases?

If you look at the pictures of the inside, it looks like the RC-330 has more 3.5" bays, while the Centurion has more 5.25" bays.

For the rest the features seem pretty much identical.

It's all personal preference when you are comparing cases like that. Get the one you like better.

What about their tool-free mechanism?

They look different in the picture. Is one better than the other?

Also, why is Centurion 5 so much heavier than RC-330? Does it have to do one being built sturdier than the other?

Based on the toolless drive mounts, I'd go with the RC-330. I don't know if it *actually* works better than the Centurion, but I do know the Centurion toolless mounts are not very secure. You have to brace drives from the front while plugging in cables, and PCI cards have to be screwed in or you push them right out of the slot trying to plug stuff into them.

Well at that price both tooless drive mounts probably aren't going to be the best. No tooless drive mount secures a drive as well as 4 screws. However about the pci slots, the RC-330 doesn't have a tooless pci slot so you will be screwing those in either way. Honestly at $40 each you will find plenty of things you don't like about the case. But you will find just as many in either case. Go with the one your prefer the looks of.

Thanks for helping me out guys, I've decided to go with Centurion 5.

Although I like the look of Elite 330 better, I'll just go with the one built with thicker steel.
