HAF932 , Twelve Hundred or .... ?
Hello,
I am putting together a powerful system which will probably include the following:
i7 920 I guess something like Zalman 9900 for cooling
asus p6t
radeon 5850
like 750-800 W PSU
2 HDS
bunch of PCI cards
DVD burners etc
I need a highly versatile unit to handle multimedia, multiple monitors at high resolution etc (so if im making a mistake with the hardware please let me know).
Between the Antec and Coolermaster case I mentioned above, I like that they have various ports conveniently located closer to the top.
What I like in HAF more is that it looks like it had quick change drive slots, which will make it easier to service it.
What other similarly versatile cases may you recommend? I like that they are opted for best cooling. The design of both seems superb, but which one do You think is better?
Or perhaps there is another case that is on the same level?

Not sure weather ill be of any help.
But i was thinking of the Antec 1200, i know someone with the 902 and its nice, so the idea of something bigger and better was very appealing.
Then i came across the HAF 932, read a little bit about it, youtubed it. And decided there and then that i had to have it. What did it for me was how versatile it was. You can swap out the 230mm fans for twice, three times, or four times as many 120mm fans. There is also the opion for water cooling. If your into case modding there are alot of people who have done so quite easily. It looks amazing, and defferent.
Im hoping to grab one in the next 4-5 months to put my first gaming build into it

Both towers are great for max cooling efficiency and rated really well. Im sure you will enjoy with what you go with.
I use a Thermaltake v9 Black Edition and I love it. Its close to the competitors and no problems at all. Generally, the larger the fan, the quieter it gets right? not necessarily. I look at the CFM's and loudness (dB) rating. That tells you how loud and how cool them fans do. Mine has 2 230mm (1 top, 1 side), 1 140mm front, and 1 120mm rear and the design is specifically for hardcore gaming and cooling efficient.
Both the Antec series and CoolrMaster would be just as good too.

I like the HAF 932. The only down side to me is the lack of a sliding motherboard tray.... But this isn't really an essential for most people. The only reason I want one with a slider is because of the copper piping I'm fitting up for my chiller loop.
The ATCS 840 is a good choice too, just not as flashy. It has a sliding motherboard tray which I just mentioned that I've become a big fan of ^_^.
I'm not a big fan of Antec cases, but its not because of any flaws.... I just don't really care for them.

Scratch that Thermaltake v9...turns out top 230mm fan gave out and went with an Antec600. Best bargain for price range. Although the 600 does not give you all the fans required for overclocking and high end hardware.
For the price of $95, the Antec 600 is a great tower. Nice 200mm on top to pull all the heat generated from below out into the atmosphere, 1X120mm rear dedicated for the CPU fan, side panel optional 120mm for single or multiple graphic cards, 2X120mm optional for front for multiple hard drives and as well an intake source for hardware. Easy power and reset buttons, nice solid white led HDD light, Removabe Hard drive tray added for gamers to share their games on other PC's. Great Tower!
