GIGABYTE 3D Mercury - liquid cooling case questions
GIGABYTE 3D Mercury GZ-FW1CA-AJS Silver Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Retail
(can't post newegg links cause I'm a new user)
I'm piecing together a new rig and I'm entertaining the idea of liquid cooling it. However, I've never liquid cooled a system and, thus, am not entirely knowledgeable.
The case comes with an AM2 CPU water block. The processor I'm planning to purchase is LGA 775. Where can I get an LGA 775 water block that I can use for this case? Is it something that will be easily swapped out?
In case you're interested, here's what I'm currently planning on: - GIGABYTE 3D Mercury liquid cooled case
- Intel Core 2 Quad 3.0 GHz CPU
- ASUS Rampage Extreme mobo
- EVGA GeForce GTX 280 Hydro Copper 1GB DDR3 GPU (SLI at some point)
- ABS Tagan BZ Series 1100W PSU
- 2 x CORSAIR 4GB(2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 RAM
- Western Digital VelociRaptor 300GB 10,000RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
- BenQ 24" 2ms LCD (a second at some point)
Thanks for your help,
Andrew
